2014
Mundo Posible begins its operations in Guatemala, led by Joan Fuetsch and Israel Quic. In this initial phase, the potential of a new off-line technology was tested, which gave rise to the RACHEL digital library. This library consisted of a collection of web sites packaged to run on a Raspberry pi that did not require internet access.
Joan Fuestch was the one who first learned about the digital library in its English version, and when analyzing how this new technology could help education in Guatemala, she did not hesitate and managed to get the first version in Spanish of the digital library.
Once the Spanish version was ready, Israel Quic began to promote its use in schools, libraries and parks, and thus began this project and a new organization that would promote it in Guatemala.

In this year, Mundo Posible achieved its legal status as an association. An advertising campaign was carried out in different media and RACHEL was installed in 44 new schools.
