Mundo Posible began activities by only delivering the RACHEL digital library to schools that already had a computer lab. However, starting in 2017, some of the projects began to integrate the learning center equipment component, which consists of a batch of computers specially designed for navigation, and thus make better use of the resources of the RACHEL digital library.
In Guatemala there are approximately 34,000 public schools, of which it is estimated that only 4% have a computer lab, and 1% have an internet connection.
Mundo Posible collaborates on several projects and with different partners, however, only some very specific projects include the component of equipping learning centers with Chromebook computers or tablets. One of the requirements to have this support is that the schools have not previously received computer equipment and that they have a safe place to store it.
